Apophis -- The Killer Asteroid German student project shows Apophis has 1/450 chance of hitting Earth in 2036. If it hits a satellite in Earth orbit in 2029, it hits the Earth on the next pass. Big waves in the Atlantic damage both coasts. I'll be 77.

Not so much a threat NASA claims original 1/45,000 is still accurate. Apophis isn't expected near the geosynchronus satellites. Smacking one isn't likely. JPL never contacted.
